When Wan Hai met Evergreen, he opened a new route

Recently, Wan Hai Shipping announced that it plans to cooperate with Evergreen Shipping to adjust the existing Japan-Philippines route service (JTP) starting from mid-September. At the same time, it will open a new Japan-China Taiwan route.


The new Japan-Taiwan route is called JH2, and will be equipped with three 1700TEU container ships, of which Wan Hai Shipping will provide two ships and Evergreen Shipping will provide one ship. The port of call of JH2 is Osaka, Kobe, Shimizu, Yokohama, Tokyo, Taipei, Kaohsiung, Hong Kong, Shekou, Haiphong and Osaka. And JTP will stop in Taichung and Manila, and newly call in Kaohsiung and Haiphong.


JH2 will help to strengthen trade between Taiwan and the Philippines, and it plans to provide services from September 14, with its maiden flight from Osaka.


It is reported that Wan Hai Shipping has adjusted the original China-Vietnam route (CVT) to China-Vietnam Direct Express (CV1) in July this year; and jointly operated the Chinese Taipei-Thailand route (CT1) with COSCO Shipping Group, increasing China Taiwan-Thailand route (CTV) and Thailand-China route (CT2), a series of route adjustments and operations, all show that Wan Hai Shipping has strengthened the route layout of the China-Southeast Asia segment.


The cooperation with Evergreen Shipping not only continuously optimizes the existing routes, but also strengthens the connection between Asia and Southeast Asia, provides customers with more diversified and convenient freight services, and continues to lay a solid foundation for further developing the Southeast Asian market.
